Bigger Picture Working In Jerusalem With Grassroots Organisations

Every year Bigger Picture donates 10% of their profit to work with one or more projects around the world.

This year we decided to go to Jerusalem for four days and work with grassroots organisations training them in mastering the art of strategic engagement using visual thinking, visual process design, graphic facilitation and visual communication for them to use in their communities.

Interviews With Ole And Loa In Kommunikatøren.

The Danish magazine Kommunikatøren has just published two articles about the work we do in Bigger Picture based on interviews with Ole and Loa.

In the article “Tegn din Vision” (Draw you vision) Loa explains how drawing the vision of your company or organisation can be a strategic tool in helping you making abstract concepts more tangible.

“De tegner mødet mellem mennesker” (They draw the meeting between people) is an article about event summaries and how it works as a process tool. Ole highlights how pen and paper create engagement amongst the people involved and how event summaries can serve as a strong communicational platform across cultures.

Whiteboard Selling

Just stumbled over this site. In some ways it seems pretty old fashioned – and then again. It really is a matter of using (re-discovering) our visual capacity in face to face meetings. Just a pity they focus on “this will help you sell better and more”.whiteboard-selling5

Credit Crisis Explained Visually

This visual explanation does a great job of both telling a story piece by piece, but it ALSO has the entire story put on one single page. Here is a bet: I believe that we have just seen the begining af this way of using mutilple angles to convey stories – and help people “get the bigger picture”.
